On Wednesday Alan Falconer
and Angus Falconer had base -
merits dug on the north side of
Highway 86 for new houses.
Mr, and Mrs. J. Deyarnond of
Waterloo, student preacher at
Chalmers Presbyterian, were
Sunday dinner guests with Mr.
and Mrs. Victor Emerson,
Frank Jamieson spent the
weekend with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. John Jamieson and
family.
On Tuesday last Mrs, Victor
Emerson, Grey Bruce area as-
sistant curator, accompanied
Mrs. Dave Ireland, time South
District WI president, Mrs.
Frank Walden, Bruce South
District secretac treasurer, and
Mrs. Francis GerfInie i, WI board
director for Subdivision 17 to the
Women's Institute annual
meeting for Grey South District
at Holstein.
Anniversary services will be
held on Sunday, June 9 at
Whitechurch United Church with
Rev. Cecil Wittieh of Blyth at 11
•a.m. and 7 p.m. There will be no
church service or Sunday school
at Chalmers Presbyterian
Church so they may attend the
anniversary.

The community welcomes Mr.
and Mrs. George Lubber, who
moved recently to the north half
of the George Fisher house.
MAGIC MIRRORS
The seventh and final meeting
of the "Magic Mirrors" was held
at Myra and Laurel Dane's on
May 21. All 11 girls were present
and answered the roll call.
At this meeting the theme of
the discussion was "Posture and
Poise". The girls learned new
exercises to help perfect their
posture as well as the type of
voice they had. Achievement Day
was also a major topic for dis-
cussion.
PAUL MONTGOMERY Was the top ,scorer and The ,most
valuable player on the Atom All-Star tearn this' year while
Gary Adams was the most'lmprovecl Player. They received
their trophies during the annual WMHA banquet at F. E.

RICKy JACKUN,. John Henderson and Ji McGee reoeived trophies for being the Midget
Ai.U-Stars' most improved pla1er, top- scorer and most valuable .player at the WMHA
banquet last week, After receiving their awards they presented their coaches Fraser
Strong and Don Montgomery with gifts In appreciation of the time they had given to the
team.
