Angus Falconer returned home
to Strathroy last Thursday after
being here for a week assisting

Cameron Simmons, Mrs. Howard
Long and Martin of London, Mrs.
Ken Ford of Lambeth and Miss
Joann Laidlaw flew from London
to Toronto where they got a plane
for Nassau where they will enjoy
a holiday.
John Crowston of Lucknow
recently returned from Wingham
and District Hospital.
Congratulations to Paul Laid-
law who recently received word
that he had successfully passed
his first year exams at Guelph
University.
On Saturday Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Moore, Linda, Richard
and Cindy visited with Mr. and
Mrs. Garry Johnson and family

A very successful sale was held
for Lawrence McLeod on Monday
under supervision of auctioneer
Brian Rintoul.
Weekend visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Garnet Farrier were Mr.
and Mrs. Wayne Farrier and
Kimberley of Guelph, Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Davi and Dana of
Windsor. Mr. and Mrs. Davis and
Dana on Sunday went to Lucan to
spend a few days with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Davis.
Mrs. Gordon Elliott and Mrs.
Galbraith of Wingham and Miss
Ruth Elliott of Kitchener spent
the weekend with Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Elliott and family.
Whitechurch 4-H club, the Susie
Qs, and their leaders, Mrs.
Walter Elliott and Mrs. Archie
Purdon, will be attending 4-H
Achievement Day on Saturday,
June 1, at Walkerton High School.

at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
James Wilson, Sr. of Wingham
for their son, James, and his wife
who are leaving for a two-year
period in Africa.

Saturday evening attended the
graduation banquet held at Strat-
ford.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Hunter and
Trevor of London spent the week-
end with her grandmother, Mrs.
Earl Caslick.
John L. Currie of East Wawa -
nosh has sold his farm and in
three weeks time will hold an
auction sale.
