The annual meeting of the
Wingham and District Hospital
Association will be held on Fri-
day, March 29, 1974 at 8:00 p.m.
in the Training School building,
Catherine Street, Wingham.
All matters of business per-
taining to the Wingham. and Dis-
trict Hospital Association will be
transacted including the election
of directors and other officers.
In order to cast a ballot in the
election of ` directors a person
must be a member of the Asso-
ciation. One-year memberships
may be obtained for the sum of
$1.00 at the hospital office or the
town clerk's office..These mem-
berships must be purchased at
least ten days prior to the annual

rie died 'Thursday, March 7, at
Listowel Memorial Hospital. She
was the beloved wife. of the late
Richard Bennett; dear mother of
Jack of Gorrie and Mrs. George
(Beryl) Snider of. Elmira. Also
surviving are one. sister, Ethel
Porter of Detroit; two brothers,
Clifford Boyd of Carrick Town-
ship and Harold Boyd . of Bel -
more; W and five grandchildren.
The body rested at the Moir
funeral home, Gorrie, until Sun-
day when funeral service was
held at St. Stephen's Angican.,

girls' high single and double, a
139 and a 243. For the boys it was
Allan Jackson with a 173 single
and a 275 double. Games over 130
were bowled by Steven Fitz-

Anger 155; Wayne Thompson 157;
Jeffery Moore 133.
Bantams
Brenda MacLennan was tbp for
the girls; she bowled a 165 single
and a 281 double. Craig Brydges
had a 307 double to make him
high in that category. Ken Marks'
202 was the high single for the
boys. Ken also received his 100
pins -and -over average crest.
Other games over 160 were
rolled by Mary Ann Welwood 160;

Storey 176.
The Mazdas are still charging
ahead; they are in first place now
with 73 points. Second are the
Datsuns with 47, The Torinos
broke the tie with the Javelins;
Torinos, in third place now, ad-
vanced five points to 59 while the
Javelins remained at 54. In fifth
place are the 'Pintos with 50, fol-
lowed by the Comets with 43.
Juniors •
The standings are very in-
teresting in the junior division.
The Jokers advanced five points
and kicked the Clubs right out of
first place, the Jokers now with
, the Clubs staying at 66. The
Spades did the same, at 59 now in
third place shoving the Aces, With
57, to fourth place. The Diamonds
have 51 and the Hearts 44.
Brenda Foxton took top honors
for the gals; her 234 single and
385 double were high. For the
-boys, it was Mike Hull's 214 single
and Paul Cerson's 336 double.
Paul also had a good. 198 single
and Joan Cerson had a good 191
single.
