BELMORE '- The January
meeting of the McIntosh United
Church Women was held in the
church 'basement with 10 mem-
bers present. Mrs. Everett
Dustow was in charge of devo-
tions. The hymn, "Standing at the
Portal" was sung and the scrip-
ture was read. A meditation on
the New Year and prayers con-
cluded the devotions. Suggestions
for next year's programs were
given for the roll call.
The study period was in charge

dress given and recorded by Tom
Allen at the national conference

sented. During the record, the
question was asked, "How, can
you possibly believe that Jesus
was both God and Man at the
same time?" and the ladies wrote
down their answers which were
read on completion of the record.
Mrs. Oliver Dustow read two
New Year's poems.. Plans were
made for the World Day of Pray-
er which will be held in McIntosh
Church Friday, March 1. The
meeting .closed with the Mizpah
-benediction. Lunch was served
