Farmers warned
against dost
talking solemn
The . time has come around
again for'doubtful products to be
peddled to gullible farmers. Thai
Huron County Federation of
Agriculture issues a warning to
all•farmers to beware of claims of
great savings to be :had, by
substituting new "wonder pro-
ducts" for tested and proven
methods.
Last year it was the door to
door insurance salesman and
maybe he is still at it. Now we
hear about a' new Wonder fertil-
izer that could save the farmer
hundreds of dollars.
Beware when they offer soil
analysis and consulting services,
charging a huge fee fors mem-
bership. Remember that yeti can
have this service free of charge
from your agricultural office.
Feed analysis is free by moat
feed companies or for a small fee
by your OMAF office.
Before you sign on the dotted
line, consult with your ag. rep.,
for be has the information
whether itis a good deal or not.
Don't believe the suggestion that
test information on their product
is suppressed because of ulterior
motives. Beware, it could cost
you dearly in underfertilized
crops. There are no» short cuts in
growing crops.
