at Knox' Church
BELMORE — The Family
Night of the Knox Presbyterian
Church WMS was held the eve-
ning of October 26 in the Sunday
School room of the church. The
devotional part of the Meeting
was conducted by the older mem-
bers of the Sunday 8,4hool. Two
musical numbers were presented
by the junior choir.
mrs. Harvey Ballagb, On behalf
of the seciety,:,, presented Mrs.
Arnold Jeffray with a Life
Membership -certificate and pin.
The hymn, "Now Thank We All
Our God", was sung, An action
song was given by the kinder-
garten class. Mrs Alvin Mundell
conducted a sing -song, • .` '
The guest speaker; Mrs. G.
Tiffin, was introduced by ,Mrs.
Conlan. She showed slides and
commented on a trip she had
taken to Mexico earlier this year.
She was thanked by Mrs. Ralph,
ickson. The meeting was closed
y repeating the Mizpah benedic-
tion. Lunch, and a social hour fol-
lowed.

Sew Club. held its meeting on
Tuesday evening of last week at
the home of Mrs. Walter Elliott,
leader. The president, Kathy
Purdon opened the meeting. The
roll call was. "anychange made
in your bedroom". Janet Adams
read the minutes.
The discussion centred on plans
for Achievement Day. Rhonda
Gibson was , chasm for com-
mentator. Cover for record books
was discussed as was the sewing
box, putting in a zipper and
mitred corner. , •
In group work they put in
zippers and worked on mitred
corners.
