Organist H. Swat - ridge accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Mary, Lee, who sang "Walk` Hand in Hand" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water". The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd G. Elliott of Wingham. Parents of the groom are Mr..and Mrs. Garnet Knoll of Sundridge, Ontario. Mr. Elliott gave his daughter in marriage. The bride wore an original gown of «shite silk organza appli- qued with Calais lace. The full circular skirt formed its own train and her full-length veil fell from a floral headpiece. She car- ried a bouquet of orange roses and rust mums. Mrs. Sally Douglas ,of Barrie was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. George Cottrell, of Sundridge and Miss Lori Knoll, both sisters of the groom. They y were dressed alike in gowns of mint green with sheer puffed sleeves and deep flounces on the skirts. They wore match- ing picture hats and carried bas- kets of rust and yellow mums and wheat stalks. In similarly -styled gowns but in autumn colors enhancing flower- ed nylon chiffon, were the flower- girls,.Marijo and Nancy Helesie, cousins of the bride, of Kitchener. GrarY Saunders of Toronto Was groomsman and guests were ushered by George Cottrell of Sundridge; Gary Knoll of Toronto and John Douglas of Barrie. The Wingham Canadian Legion Hall was . the setting for the reception which included a dinner and dancing to the music of Ian Wilbee's Orchestra. It was perforMed at 7 p.m. on Sept- ember. in Gorrie United Church, joining Marlene June Burchill and Larry Kenneth Pel - lett in marriage. Rev. G. Sach officiated at the double-ring'ceremony. Mrs. Rob- ert Kerr of London, the bride's aunt, provided appropriate organ music. Given id marriage by her mother and her step -father, the bride chose a floor -length gown of white cotton batiste trimmed with lace around the neckline and empire waistline with mauve sa- tin ribbon inserted through it. The gown had long, full sleeves buttoned at the cuffs and an A- line skirt. The long, flowing veil was trimmed with wide lace and was gathered to an angel head- piece. She carried a cascade of yellow roses and mauve tinted carnations. Miss Sharon Bur -chill was her sister's maid of honor. She was dressed in a floral purple and green, palazzo pantsuit in polyes- ter satin, with long, full sleeves and . round neckline, trimmed with a deep purple velvet ribbon around the waistline and tied in a bow at the back. She carried a nosegay of white and mauve tint- ed carnations. The bridesmaids were Miss Wanda Burchill of Gorrie, sister of the bride, and Miss Bonnie Pel - lett of Wroxeter, sister of the groom: They were dressed identically to the maid of honor and carried matching nosegays. They each wore, pearl pendants, gifts of the bride. Douglas Ferguson of Acton was the groom's best man. The ushers were Robert Pellett, brother of the groom, and Roger Burchill, brother of the bride. The men wore black trousers, pale blue tuxedoes with white ruffled carnation boutonnieres. A reception . followed at the Brussels Legion Hall where guests were :•eceived by the bride's parernts and the groom's parents.
