Rabies is a virus disease of ani-
mals which can be spread to man
and iOisually fatal in all warm-
blooded species. The fatality of
the disease is an aspect which
makes the disease so important
in public health. To date no con-
firmed cases of rabies hove
occurred in humans in Huron
County. This outstanding record
is mainly due to.the conscientious
efforts of medical authorities and
practitioners in the county, com-
bined with control measures in
animals. We therefore again urge
you to present your pet for free
