The bus trip to Black Creek

ned for Aug. 15 was postponed
until a later" date.

will prepare an exhibit "An Eve-
ning. at Home"; for the Howick
Fall Pair. .
Miss "Darlene Stamper told
those present of her trip to Ed-
monton, as part of a youth ex-
change program, sponsored by
the National Farmer's Union.
She was thanked by Mrs. Bert
Garniss and presented with a
gift.
Members were reminded to
have their house logs prepared
for the next meeting. This will be
held at the home of Mrs. Graham
Campbell on Sept. 13 at 8 p.m.
There will be a display of an-
tiques and the topic will be
"Articles from the local Tweeds-
muir History".

McBurney on Sunday with about

Ontario attended the annual
meeting . of the Federation of
Women Teachers' Associations of
Ontario, August 14 to .

Royal York Hotel, Toronto. The
Federation represents. the pr'oir-
ince's 33,000 elementary public
school women teachers. , Provin-
tial President Lenore Graham of
Windsor chaired some sessions

ministrators on the subject of the
promotion of women in educa-
tion, sex stereotyping in text-
books and related matters.

to strike, merit pay, the employ;
