Church Messengers presented
the program for the United
Church Women's meeting held in
t chuo°ch on Wednesday of last
week. Mrs. George Thompson
and., Mrs, Ivan Laidlaw,
Messenger leaders, were in at-
tendance. The opening prayer
was given by Murray Gibb and
all sang "Saviour Teach Me".
The story, "Wise and Foolish
Virgins", was given by .Linda
Moore and a. poem, "We Read
God's Word", was • read' • by
Richard Moore. This was follow-
ed, by a prayer_ by Nancy Quipp.
The minutes were read and roll
call was answered' by 15. Linda
Moore played a piano solo and
Karen Quipp gave a reading.
The. Miers presented the
U.C,W. with 310 for the mission
fund and Jackie Whytock gave a
violin sola.. The offering wasre-
