men's Institute meeting which
was held in the community hall
on Wednesday evening of last
week. Family and' consumer
affairs conveners. were Mrs.
Wendall Stamper. and Mrs. ROW
Nicholson.
The president, Mrs Mel Craig,
'Called the meeting to order and
welcomed the guests, 411 club
members, their leaders and
mothers. Special gest for the
evening was Miss Jane Pci gel -
ley, home economist for Huron
County who succeeds Miss Cath-
erine Hunt.
Miss Pengelleyspoke on some
of the .future proects and showed
slides of one "A World of blood in
Canada". 'This features the
preparation of foods of 'other
countries. Mrs. Ken Chambers,
on behalf of the 441 girls and
leaders, presented apgift to Miss
Pengelley to take back to Miss
Hunt, who is being married this
fall.
