to go to the best all-round student
in the graduating class.
Two boys and .two girls were
chosen to receive this year's
Howick Lions` Award. Julie
Machan, Karen. Hyndman, Paul
Dickson and Ron. Haasnoot were
elected by the teachers because
of good qualities in 'scholarship,
citizenship, class participation
and enthusiasm shown for their
class and for the school.
Jack Kopas, head of guidance
at F. E. Madill Secondary School,
Wingham, was the guest speaker
for the ceremony.
Mr. Kopas spoke to the stud-
ents on growing up.
He said during the next few
