Turnberry teams
oust Wawanosh
At Turnberry Central School on
Tuesday of last week, the Turn -
berry girls' and boys' softball
teams both came back to redeem
themselves after their defeat the
previous week by East Wawa -
nosh.
The Belgrave teams both
played well, but Turnberry over-
powered them. Time expired
while the Turnberry boys were up
to bat with the bases loaded and
only one out, lea‘ ing them with a
5-4 win. The Turnberry girls put
the Belgrave girls out 1-2-3, in the
last inning' to protect their 19-16
lead.
East Wawanosh will hopefully
have a chance to redeem their
teams sometime in the near
future.
