The Kinsmen Club of Wingham
are celebrating their 25th anni
versary with a 'series of events
over the Civic Holiday weekend,
August .3-6.
Eventsfor the weekendinclude
a wine and cheese party on Fri-
day, a barbecue in Riverside
Park on Saturday with a picnic on
theSunday. Monday morning will
include a stag breakfast at the
golf course and a Dinettes and
Kin Wives coffee party. The
events will close with a farewell
luncheon at the armories.

former mayor and reeve, He
served for several years on the
Board of Managers of the Chil-
dren's Aid Society and also on the
Wingham • Hospital Board. He
was—also a member of the Lions

elder.
Mr. Davidson was predeceased
by his first wife, the former Ethel
McLaughlin, in April of 1966. He
is survived by his second wife,
the former Hazel Harper, whom"
he married in September of 1971;
one. `son, . Gordon Davidson of
Wingham and one grandson,
Douglas Davidson of Wingham.
Also surviving is one sister, Mrs.
H.0. (S,adie) Stevens of Lachine,
Quebec. He• was predeceased by

Friendship Club 'met in the
Legion Italy on Wednesday eve,

A short business meeting was
held, during which time it was
decided to forego the June meet-
ing in favor of a journey to visit
Huronview, Clinton, on Friday,
June 22. Those wishing to go are

Hemingway or Mrs. H. Thomas.
The remainder of the evening
was spent playing , progressive
euchre, followed by lunch and a
social hour.
