ACW meeting. at Trinity FGRDWICH -- The April meet- ing of Trinity Anglican Church Women was held in the church basement with J. Daunt presid- ing. The meeting opened with a hymn and prayers. Devotions on the Gift of Love were presented by Lynn Bunker and Grace Bt owne. Roll call was answered by 18 members with each donating a tea towel for the church kitchen. The financial report was given by the treasurer and minutes were read by the secretary. Mrs. E. Strong read a letter of thanks for the used stamps sent to the Bible Society for use in India and South America. Thank -you cards were read and it was moved to pur- chase a clock in memory of Mrs. Elsie Demerling with a donation that was received. A donation of $100 was made to the church funds. J. Daunt read an article "My Brother's Keeper" and left each with the thought as to how she could help improve some of the problems such as hunger, drugs, strikes, poverty in the world today. The meeting • closed with prayer. Rona Browne was in charge of the program and lunch was served by Mrs. M. Kirby and Mrs. James Vittie assisted by Jean Sothern.
