In the Milverton game. Wing-
ham fell behind early in thg game
but tied it up at 1-1 Midway
through a first, at,
when
Tom Fotjlon scored. That was
their last count, and the score
was 3-1 with eight minutes to go
in the game when Milverton
pumped in a barrage of four goals
to make it 7-1.
In the afternoon game with
Drayton, Winghatn fell behind by
4-0 in the first period. It was a dif-
ferent story in the second when
they cut the lead in half as Brent
Day scored on a pass from Tom
Foulon and later in the period
Dave Shaw pushed home Bill
Brophy's rebound for the second
goal.
In the third period the Wing -
ham boys picked up two more to
tie the game at 4-4. Laverne
Steffler scored from Dave Shaw
and with 10 minutes to go Bruit
Day walked in alone to fire the
tying goal.
There was only 40 seconds to go
when the Wingham boys failed to
cover in front of the net and
Drayton scored to win the game
5-4.
