going into the third period when a
shot by Fraser Strong deflected
into the Kurtzville net off Kurtz-

Pegg then tipped another of
Strong's shots, into the Kurtzville
net. Bob is also a standout ball
player in the off season and he
showed why when he batted in
that second goal.
Brian Black then scored a
picture goal to bring the final
score to 3=0 and the series stand-
ings to Belgrave three wins,
Kurtzville two wins.
This set the stage Mr Thursday
night's sixth game; Belgrave
determined to take the sixth and
force a seventh . and final game.
Slow Start
Bob Mclntosh of Kurtzville
opened the scoring in the first
period and at that point some
fans were convinced that Kurtz-
ville had the game already. And
well it seemed, because Belgrave
started the game slowly and it did
not appear; that they co01d skate
with Kurtzville in • this game,
However, after the Kurtzville
goal, Belgrave seemed to come to
life and a short time later Niel
Edgar tied it up on a low hard
shot from left wing: Belgrave
added one more goal in the first
to take a 2-1 lead into the second
period.
In the second period Belgrave
skaters turned on the power, fore -
checking quite effectively in the
Kurtzville end, breaking up many
