March 8, 1973 Fordwich Personal Notes Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Stone and family of Toronto spent the week- end with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Gau- thier. Mrs. Roy Kennedy underwent surgery on Wednesday in Wing - ham and District Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Don Bott and family of Alma were Sunday visi- tors with Mr, and Mrs. Parker Eurig. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Martin and girls spent the weekend in Aurora. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Simmons spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Doug Wildfang in Missis- sauga. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wendt of Toronto spent the weekend with Mrs. E. A. Schaefer. Mrs. Carroll Johnson spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Doug Mason. Weekend and Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Clare Harris were John Harris of Newmarket and Mr. and Mrs. Les Watkins of Bolton. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Zurbrigg and family returned home last week from a 10 -day holiday in Florida. Gary Klaassen spent a couple of days last week in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Don Doig of 'Glenn Morris visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs.. Ross Doig. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Campbell of Kitchener called on friends in the village on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tozer of New Brunswick, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Demerling of Beaver- ton returned'to their homes over the weekend after spending the past week with Harvey Demer- ling, owing to the death of their mother, Mrs. Demerling. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Stevenson and family of Toronto were week- end visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Anson Ruttan. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Galbraith of Guelph were Sunday guests with Mrs. Verna Galbraith and Mrs. Elsie Strong. Sunday visitors with Mr. and. Mrs. Anson Demerling were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Goldrieh and two children of Guelph and Mrs. Ralph Longstaffe and Brent of Toronto. Sunday visitors with Mrs. Ruby Foster were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Foster and three girls of Missis- sauga and Mr. and Mrs. Cy Mitler and three children of Bramalea. Mr, and Mrs. Hugh Frew and Sharon of Preston spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Moore. Mrs. Marian Kirby returned home on Friday after spending two weeks with relatives in Toronto. Mrs. Stan Bride was in Toronto last week for a couple of toys attending a WI convyntiqn. Mr. and Mrs. John Deming of Fenelon Fails spent Fast Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Anson Demerling. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sothern, Tracy and Timmy of Pallaergon and Mrs. Carl Stewart, Doug s0nd Greg were Sunday visitors With Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sothern, BELGRAVE WINNERS BELGRAVE — Eleven tables of euchre were played last Wednesday evening in the community rooms. Prizes for high scores went to Mrs. Herb Wheeler and Danny Campbell; low score winners were Mrs. George Brewer and George Brewer. Novelty prizes were awarded to Mrs. William Taylor and Aaron Wieben.
