Kenya, Africa. He, has been
working at Madill with Mr.
Willis in auto mechanics for -
two weeks.
The Folksong Club's presenta-
tion last Monday is clear evi-
dence that our school boasts
some fine talent. I thought that
the students were rather rude
between and during the.. two
songs. You soon learn to keep
quiet when others are speaking
on stage, when you go up there
occasionally yourself.

when I say I look forward to holi-
days and. Roses are red,
Violets are blue, I'll be so glad
when exams are all through!

Last week's "Coffee House" in
the student lounge was a really
fine effort. I hope the Council will
continue with this project. A

North Huron
snowmobile club
FORDWICH -- It was decided
at the second meeting of the
snowmobile club, which was held
at Howick Central School, that
the Achievement Day would be
Saturday, March 17, starting at
1:30. The front field on Julie
Fairies farm will be used,
weather permitting.
Snowmobiles are to be taken
there for judging. Driving will
also be judged.

The Kindergarten class has
finished a unit on Helpers in Our
Community. They wrote stories
to go along with the unit.
Grades 5 and 6 completed their
projects on Australia, Dampier,,
Tasman ' and Cook this• week.
They presented die to Mrs.
O'Malley and the rest of the class
on Tuesday.
This week Grades 7 and 8 went
bowling , at the local bowling
alley. This is the second time in a
series of four that theyire to visit
the alley. The marks were con-
siderably higher than last time.
