Mrs. Garfield Johnson of .Listo-
wel, received word of the death of
her brother-in-law, Isaac . Clark.
He passed away Friday, Dec. 8 in
Toronto hospital after a lengthy
illness,
Son of the late .Mr. and Mrs.
Isaac Clark of Grey Township, he
was 75 years old.
Surviving besides his wife, the
former Matilda McCallum, . are
sons: Bruce and Harold of Galt,
Archie of. -Kitchener and Robert
of Fergus; one daughter, Viola at
home. Also surviving are three
brothers, William of Wingham,
Clarence of Grey Township and
Earnest in the west. One brother
Alvin predeceased him. Two sis-
ters, Mrs. Percy McCracken of
Listowel and Mrs. William Wil-
loughby of Molesworth, also sur:
vive.
The late Mr. Clark was buried
on Saturday, 'Dec. 9th from Ross
Craig. Funeral Home in Toronto.
ARTHUR C. ROCK •
Arthur Rock of Ethel passed
away in Wingham and District
Hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 29
at the age of 67. For the past few
years he had been in failing
health -and had been confined to
hospital since July of this year.
Born in Logan Township, he
was the son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Rinehold Rock and for the
past several years had resided in
Ethel.
He was a member of the United
Church of Canada.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Mae Carnochan, one
