•John Henry Stacey of RR 2,
Wingham, passed away at -his
home on Friday, December 1, fol-
lowing a lengthy illness. He was
in his 76th year.
Born in Turnberry ' Township,
Mr. Stacey was a son of the late
'Thomas Richard Stacey and
•Sarah Prescott. He was educated
in Turnberry and 'farmed in his
early life. Later he worked as a
custodian. He reqed May 1, 1971.
.Mr. Stacey rested at , the . R. A.
Currie and Son Funeral Home
until , Monday when .Rev. R. H.
Armstrong of St. Andrew's Pres-
byterian Church where deceased
was a member, conducted ' fu-
neral service' at 2 p.m., Interment
followed in Wingham Cemetery.

five sons, William, Ronald and
Alvin all of Wingham, Robert of
Wyoming and Thomas of London.
He is also survived by 32 grand-
children, three great-grandchil-
dren and a sister, Mrs. Mary
Dipple of Buffalo, New York. He
was predeceased by one daughter
at birth, two brothers and two sis-
ters.

There passed away in Wing-
ham and District Hospital on.
Wednesday, November 29, Ro-
bert Lester Falconer, son.of the
late George T. Falconer and
Alice (Quinn) of Culross Town. -
ship. Born on March 26, 1898,,Mr..
Falconer was the husband of the
former Velma Brooks; father of
Garry C. of 'Teeswater; brother
of William B. of Barrie, John L. of
Waterloo; Calvert A. of Blyth;
George E. of Vernon, B.C. He was
predeceased by two brothers.
Mr. Falconer was active in
township and county affairs, hav-
ing served on council from 1939 .to
i945 and from 1945 to 1952 as
Reeve of Culross Township. He
also served on Bruce County
Highways committee and the
Bruce County Home for the Aged.,
He was always interested in pub-
lic activity and was a good neigh-
bor and friend to all-, He was
especially interested in the youn-
ger generation who were all so
good to come and visit him and
send cards during his illness.
Mr. Falconer was a member of
the United Church, a member of
Masonic Lodge No. 276 of Tees -
-wsl'ter and in younger days, a
member of the ' Young Brittons
Lodge of the L.O.L., Wingham.
The funeral was held Saturday,
December 2, from. MacPherson's
funeral 'chapel, Teeswater, with
Rev. A. Proud officiating for the
service. Temporary entombment
was in' Teeswater Cemetery
Chapel.
Pallbearers were Joseph King,
Wilfred Walters, Billy Caslick,
Ronald Evans, Jack Bosman and
Irvine Ernewein. Flower bearers
were Jack McKinnon,, Ken Wal-
ters, Douglas Simpson and Den-
nis Evans.

Jack Willits
at age of. 61
A Turnberry Township 'farmer
for most of his life, William John
(Jack) Willits of RR 1, Wingham,
passed away at Victoria Hospital,
London, on Saturday, in his 62nd
year. Death followed a brief ill-
ness.
Surviving are one brother,
Walter of Turnberry Township:
and three sisters, Mrs. Harvey
(Lyda) Reidt of Wroxeter, Mrs.
Emerson (Eva) Rideout of
Waterloo and Mrs. Dean (Katha-
lene) Earngey of Fergus. He was
never married.
The late Mr. Willits rested at
the Moir Funeral Home in Gorrie
until Monday at 2 p.m. when fu-
neral service was conducted by
Rev. G. W. Sach. Temporary en-
tombment took place in Gorrie
cemetery chapel with the final
resting place to be Wroxeter
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill 'Earngey,
Ron Rideout, Lyle Reidt, Mac
Willits, Murray Willits and Bruce
Willits. Floral tributes were
carried by Grant Wilton, George
Timm, Harry Mulvey, Ken Ben-
nett, Ross Willits and Charles
Finlay.
