Wingham scored their only
goal, Tom Lee assisted by Steve
Caslick, halfway through the first
period to make the score 2-1. Kin-
cardine' scored their next four
goals in the second and third per-
iods; scoring were M. McDonald
and B. Shewfelt assisting, at the
10 -minute mark of the second
period; J. Farrell at 13:15 of the
second, ubassisted.
Kincardine. again scored to
make the Score 5.1, from G. Mac-
Donald assisted, by D. Nesbitt.
The final goal . came at 14:27 of
the third, scored by D. Nesbit,
assisting G. MacDonald.
On Sunday the Midgets met
Listowel in Wingham with Listo-
wel winning 7-5. The scoring
started early in the first period
with T. Sieler assisted by J, Wood

Bantams keep record going
as they .beat Mount Forest
The Wingham Bantams kept up
their record with a double win
over Mount Forest and a win over
Mississauga Triple '"A" team.
The first encounter was Wed-
nesday, November 22 when the
boys met Mount Forest for the
first time in the season.
The first two minutes Wingham
got the feel of the Mount Forest
team, then at 3:45 of the first per-
iod Jim McGee put the first of
seven goals home for Wingham,
the assist oin the play going to
Philip Chandler, with help from
Kevin Hickey and Kevin Carter
made it 2-0 for Wingham
In a matter of minutes Wing -
harp made it 3-0 with a goal by
Rick. McFarlane and Doug
Schiell picked up the assist on the
goal, to close out the scoring for
the first period.

The second period was a back -
and -forth battle with a number of
close calls for the Mour. t Forest
goalie. At 10:15 Dave Bennett,
with help from John Kennedy and
Greg Cook, made the score 4-0.
Three minutes later Mount For-
est came back with a goal scored
by Mike Orr. Wingham went back
to work as Rick McFarlane
picked up number two for himself
at 15:07 unassisted, bringing" the
score to 5-1.

the most exciting. After Marks
Bros. took a 3-0 lead early in the
first period they were able to
hang on to win 3-2 over Reiiing-
ton's IGA. Brent Fenton played a
spectacular game in the net for
Marks, cutting down two clear-
cut breakaways in the final three
minutes topreserve the win.
Murray Edgar, Paul Cerson
and Terry Harcourt accounted
for the scoring for Marks
Brothers, while Dave Galley and
Doug Merkley netted the goals
for IGA.

Start Scoring
Wingham started fast- in
third with an unassisted goal
Don Carter put number four

6:25, scored by Kevin Barber un-
assisted at 10:15. Mount Forest
finished their scoring for the
night with a goal set up by
Lawrence Truax and put home by
Bill Reeves. Paul Skinn scored
unassisted at 13:20 and in the
closing ininutes of the second
period Kevin Hickey found the
mark with help froizi team mates
Doug Schiell and Bernie Haines
to make the score at the end of
the second period 6-2 for Wing -
ham.
Don Carter to make the score 6-1
at 1:27 of the, third. However,
Mount Forest came back with
two quick goals in two and a half
minutes, the first scored by Bill
kievres, Paul Barton picking up
the assist. The second goal was
scored by Paul Barton unassisted
to make the score 6-3 in Wing -
ham's favor at. the 14:30 mark.
Kevin Carter popped number 7 in
for Wingham with an assist going
to Philip Chandler.
Second Win
The story of Friday night was
much the same. The scoring
started at the 3:10 mark with
Kevin Carter getting the first
goal, assists going to Bernie
Haines and the goalie, Tim Heft-
er. This was to be the first of
three for Kevin as he picked up.

second goal came at the 9:4
mark when Kevin Carter an

Wingham. In the closing minutes
of the first period Philip Chandler
with Paul Skinn's help made it 3-

In the second period the scoring

Wingham. Scoring started at the
3:20 mark with a good shot from
the point set up by Jim McGee
and Kevin Carter. Bernie Haines
was the one to put it home to
make the score 7-2. Then at 4:25
Kevin Carter picked up number
5 three with help from Philip
d Chandler. Jim Mc,A•ee assisted by
r 'i'om Graham dosed out the scor-
r ing at 13:54 to make it a 9-2 game
for the Wingham boys.
These two games put them in
tunic for Salida gaine with Mis-
sissauga Triple "A" team.

Before the game got under way

The first period saw a num , er

the 17:25 mark Kevin Carter put
the first goal home with Philip
Chandler picking up an assist on
the play,
In the second period at the 6:55
mark Rick McFarlane, on a good
pass from Rick McKay scored
another for Wingham to make the
count 2-0 for Wingham. At the
14:40 mark Wingham made it 3-0
on a goal from Paul Skinn and
Philip Chandler and KevinCarter
picked up assists on the play.
Mississauga scored a goal at
the 16:28 mark of the third by Joe
McGavin, Brad Price and Rick
Richards getting assists. The
scoring was closed out by Wing -
ham when Bernie Haines let one
go from the blue line . which
caught the Mississauga goalten-
der off guard on the play. Dave
Bennett and Greg Cook picked up
assists. - Wingham 'carted on a
last-minute, rush' but the clock
won and the final score was 5-1 in
Wingham's favor.
The Winghpm Kinsmen Ban-
tams travel to Drayton on Tues-
day night and are hack home -Fri-
day night to meet Durham,
