A. Cur- rie and Son Funeral Horne, for John Sanders Burchill of Jose- phine, Street, VVingharn, who passed away Saturday, Novem- ber 25, in Victoria Hospital, Lon- don: Rev. Robert Armstrong of- ficiated and interment' followed in Wingham Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eldrid Nichol, Ken McKague, Bob Mc- Kague, Bob Burchill all .of Wing - ham; Ross McRae of Teeswater, Roy Burchill of Goderich. Floral tributes were carried by Jim Kennedy of Toronto and Jack Burchill of Mitchell. Mr. Burchill was bornn83 years ago in Turnberry Township. He was a son of the late Samuel Burchill and Mary Sparrow. He attended Zetland School and farmed most of his life. He has lived retired since 1959. He was a member of St. An- 15' drew's Presbyterian Church and was a past director of the Culross Mutual Fire Insurance Company. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Currie, whom he married at her home in East Wawanosh in 1918; two daugh- ters, Mrs. Rod (Jean) Bowman of Belle River, and Mrs. Arthur (Ei- leen) Bryce of RR 2, Wingham; 0 one son, Currie of London. Also surviving are six grandchildren. He was predeceased by twobrothers, William and Herbert, and two sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Bes- sie) Groves and one in infancy. 1 DIED HURRAY LAWLESS Wri Murray- Douglas Lawless, son of Mr aril Mrs. Douglas S. Law- less,.' 4346 Lakeshore Rd., Bur- lington, and formerly of 'Walton, died suddenly as the result of an automobile accident at Ithaca, New York, on Thursday, Nov. 23. He ,was 25 -years' old. Surviving besides his parents, is one sister, Diane, at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wil -1, bur Turnbull of .Brussels and Mrs. IrlvViess. ci Aylmer. The funeral service was held.
