Mrs. Morley Bell has returned home after visiting at the home of Mrs. Jack Ross, Preston. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Toner spent Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Ross of Preston. Mrs. Norman Wade, Mrs. Wes- ley Trimble and Mrs. Archie Mil- ler accompanied Mrs. Thomas MacDonald and attended the bazaar at Huronview on Wednes- day. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scott of Kincardine Township spent Saturday at the homes of his brothers, Rev.. R. J. and Mrs. Scott andMr. and Mrs. Martin §cott. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gray visited their son, Gary Gray of St. John's Nfld., who was attending the YMCA National Council at Lake CotichiChing. Miss Margaret Scott and Dean Benvenuto of Toronto visited at her home and Reeve and Mrs. Harry Martin of Cedarville visit- ed Mr. and Mrs. Martin Scott on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Erik Munster- hjelm of Mindemoya, Manitoulin Island, spent a couple of days with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gray enroute to Texas for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nethercott of Atwood visited Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Grainger on Thursday. Mrs. William Haney of Wing - ham and Mrs. Jack McGee of Dungannon visited Sunday with Mrs. Wilford King. ' Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Harkness of McIntosh visited Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Dane on Sunday. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McInnis were Mr. and Mrs. Al Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. William McInnes of Tees - water; Mr. and Mrs. Calvert Faulkner of Blyth and Mr. and Mrs. Dan McInnes of Kinlough. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Earl of At- wood spent Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Toner. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edgar of St. Thomas visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Finlay. Mrs. Thomas MacDonald ac- companied Mr. and Mrs. George MacDonald of Molesworth and visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas MacDonald at Tavistock. Mrs. William Behrns and Miss Carol Ann Behrns, Mrs. Edgar Dane and Miss Myra Dane atend- ed the Royal Winter Fair on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. George Brmyn4, and Miss Jean Brown of Galt spent the weekend at the home of Mrs. John Stewart in Toronto: Mrs. O. May is president of Gorrie group GORRIE — Mrs. Olive May was elected president of St. Stephen's Guild when members met at the home of Mrs. William Bennett. Other officers are: vice president, Mrs. Edward Ekavid; secretary, Mrs. William Bennett ; treasurer, Mrs. Ron Bennett; press reporter, Mrs. David Mc- Callum. The meeting opened with the Lord's prayer and a poem was read by Mrs. William Bennett. During the business portion of the meeting, plans were made to serve an anniversary dinner and a 'notion was passed to donate $600 to the church. The Christmas meeting was discussed and will be held December 5 at 7 p.m., be- ginning'with dinner served at the Redwood Restaurant, Clifford. Gifts for Secret Pals will be ex- changed, The meeting closed with prayer, following which Mrs. W. Bennett showed slides of a recent trip to -the Btittall Lunch was served by the host- ess assisted by Mrs. Ron Bennett and Mrs-. Rowland Bennett. kt SOLD FARM GOBBLE — Robert Searson has sold his farm to John Harris - ton of W,illowdale. Mr. Harriston ig an accountant with the board of education. Gorrie Robert Searson spent the week on a hunting trip in the Huntsville area. e Mrs. Wilford King .and Mrs. Thomas 'MacDonald visited Tuesday with Miss Agnes Lawson and other friends at Huronview.
