economist for Perth County. Mrs.
S. McAllister, home economist
for Zurich, and Mrs. R. Axtmann,
home economist for Walton, com-
mented on exhibits and skits pre-
sented by club members.
It was announced that the pro-
ject for the spring of 1973 will be
"Sportswear from Knits".

Service held Satw'day
FORDWICH — Remembrance
Day service was held Saturday
morning at the United Church
with Howick Legion 307, Ladies
Auxiliary, members of council,
Brownies and Cubs and their
leaders in attendance. Rev. C. K.
Forest, Fordwich United Church,
Rev: G. W.- Sach, Gorrie United
and Rev. Percy Dodd, Anglican
Churches of Gorrie and Fordwich
assisted in the service.
The choir rendered the anthem,
"The Lights , of Home". At the
conclusion of the service, all pro-
ceeded to the cenotaph where
Rev. Forrest led in prayer and
George Inglis of the Legion read
the names of fallen comrades of
the two world wars. Wreaths
were laid from the Province of
Ontario, Howick Township, Le-
gion Branch 307, Ladies' Aux-
iliary and wreaths in memory of
Jack Newton, Alex Graham and
Harvey Sutton by members of
their families. '
This was followed by a short
service at the cenotaph. at Wroxe-
ter with the Legion chaplain in
charge.
Later in the evening a dinner
was held at the United Church in
Fordwich, served by the after-
noon unit of the tJCW and a social
evening was held in the L• egiora
rooms at Gorrie.

visited Mr. and Mrs. Fraser
Haugh and Eileen on Sunday.
