Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Bender and family of Ayton were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Clar- ence Bender. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Klaassen and Teddy visited with friends near Grand Bend on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Slater of Strathroy and Mr. and Mrs. Glen - ford Rose of Seaforth visited re- cently with Mr. and Mrs. Crosby Sotheran. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fletcher of Toronto were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Jack King and Rodger of Guelph were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Randy King. Mr. and Mrs. Barry Shortrill and Wayne of Georgetown spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Russell Ruttan. Mr. and Mrs. Holger Feldskov moved last week to the farm they recently purchased from Mr. and Mrs. Bert Wylie. Miss Margaret Sothern of Guelph spent the weekend with 'her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Sothern. Mr. and Mrs. Art Wells, Greg and Jeff of London were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. George Ashton. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Burnett of Port Elgin visited one day last week with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence' Bender. Miss Ann. 'Miller of Fergus and Miss Chris Wright of Elora spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Budd spent a few days with relatives in Shel- burne and Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bride spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Riddell in Lindsay. Mrs. Stanley Bride, ac- companied by. Mrs. Harold Wal- lace of Clifford, attended the 33rd annual convention of Women's Institutes of the Guelph area, held in St. John's Church, Strat- ford, a couple of days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Simmer: maker, Bill and Cathy visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. I. Sim- mermaker in Harriston. Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Jonas of Breslau spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Schumacker. Mr. and Mrs. John Welsch and family of Base Borden were weekend visitors with Mr: and Mrs. Wray Cooper. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Parson and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Gauthier spent the weekend at Knowlton, Que., and attended the Parson - McKellar wedding on SatUrday. Karen and Bruce were pre- sented with a vacuum cleaner and a purse of money. Barry and Marg received a china cabinet, bathroom hamper and a purse of money.
