The fi- nancial report was given by the secretary, showing a very good year in spite of inclement wea- ther. Accounts were paid in full. Members 'interested will be attending the District 8 annual meeting in Seaforth, November 9 at 8p.m. The Howick Fair Queen, Miss Elizabeth Neilson will be. attending this meeting also; Mrs. William Wright reports an excellent showing of school fair exhibits. The winners of the high- est points in Turnberry Central School were Barbara Ryan and Ken Warwick.
