Visitors last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ben McClenaghan and Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClen`aghan were Beu McClenaghan's nephew, Jim Dobie and Mrs. Dobie of Paris. Rev. and Mrs. Clarence Mc- Clenaghan of Dungannon and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Parker .of Lucan. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin McClena- ghan of Waterloo spent the week- end at the McClenaghan homes. Jack Purdon of Lucknow, for- merly of this vicinity, is a patient in Wingham and District Hospi- tal. Mrs. Fisher and girls of Tees - water vicinity visited Sunday afternoon with Miss Lila ,Emer- son. ti Mr. and Mrs. Ted Evans, Georgetown, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Evans of Hamilton were Sunday visitors with their mother, a patient in Wingham Goderich, Mr. and Mrs. Larry and District Hospital. Park, Dungannon, and Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Sid Wybenga and little daughter and Henry Wyben- ga of Bowmanville spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Vic- tor Wybenga and family. Don Caesar had a big house trailer moved in on Bob Mow- bray's property on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Falconer and Tony of Streetsville will occupy the house Mr. and Mrs. Caesar and family are vacating. Nat Thompson of Lucknow visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson. Sunday guests after the chris- tening of Steven Andrew at the home of, his parents, " Mr..aarid Mrs. Neil Rintoul, were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Oberholtzer, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Robinson of Wingham, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Campbell of Listowel, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stiles, Mrs. Mack Cardiff df Brussels. Mrs. Earl Caslick was released from Walkerton hospital on Tues- day and came to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ronald Coultes., Mr. Coultes and family of East Wawanosh. On Monday, Mrs. Robert Ross and Mrs. Wallace Conn accom- panied' Mr. and Mrs. Dave Gibb to London. Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Conn visited with Russel Ross and Earl Caslick, patients at Vic- toria Hospital. Residents here were sarry to hear of the car accident in which Rev. Robert Marshall was in- volved. A boy died as a result of the accident. Tiffin relatives received word on Wednesday that Mrs. Sidney Payne of Belle Ewart had passed .away, following surgery. She leaves to mourn her loss, her hus- band, one daughter, Mrs. Jack Cullen and sons Sid, Norm ,allt,1 Raymond; 16 grdndchildren 3 great-grandchildren. The e " o, neral was held at Bradford at '74.9 a.m. Saturday. gathers Family DONNYBROOK — A turkey dinner was held recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jefferson to celebrate the .birth day of Mrs. J. C. Robinson of Wingham. Those attending were Mrs. Charles Potter, Mrs. Joe Gooding and Miss Bernice Potter, all of Parkhill, Mrs. Ted Harvey of RR 1 Denfield, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McClinchey of Blyth, and Mr. and Mrs. Sydney McClinchey of Au- burn. Before dinner was served Mrs. Robinson was presented with a step -stool from her brut ` d sisters. During the c, e was presented with . ._ I. Jay cake from her three nieces. An enjoyable time was spent in reminiscing of earlier years. ONNYBROOK The sympathy of the neighbor- hobd goes out to Mrs. Wesley Jef- ferson in the, loss her her mother, Mrs. Elgin Joslin of - Londes- boro,, who passed away last Thursday e''ening in Victoria Hospital. A carload of members of the UCW attended the special meet- ing in the Auburn United Church last week. Mrs. Fred McPherson spent several days at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sam Thompson and Mr. Thompson while they were silo filling. Miss Susan Thompson of London spent the weekend at. her home. Miss Diane Chimney, Reg. N., of Listowel, visited with her par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Stuart C ip- ney and family on Friday and Miss Donna Chamney of Strat- ford spexit the weekend there. Don Jefferson and Derek of Clinton visited Monday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jefferson.
