They will then leave by overland bus for a three months' expedition through Europe and Asia. ending the trip in Bangkok, Thailand. Mrs. Lorne Eckmier`'of Van- couver, Mrs. George Mutter of Brussels and Mr and Mrs. Ben Ryan of Grand Rapids visited one day last week with Mrs. Eliza- beth Hainstock. Mel Allan is presently a patient in Hamilton General Hospital. Mrs. Madeline Faucet and daughter Margaret of Wolfe Is- land visited recently with Mrs. Wally Gibson and Mr. Gibson who is in the Village Nursing Home.. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Moore visited Sunday with Mrs_ Yvonne Bricker in Baden. Mrs. Moore re- mained for a ,fPw clays' visit Mr. and Mrs. George Piercey of Elora were guests Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Miller. • Mrs. Emmerson Hargrave is at present confined to -Listowel Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Mel Allan and Sandra at- tended the baptism of Betsy Jen- nifer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Allan in the, United Church in Blyth on Sunday morning, Rev. and Mrs. Coles and family of Toronto visited on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs Rnhvirt Connell. Rev. Coles was guest speaker at the United Church anniversary service. Other Sun- day visitors at the Robert Connell home were Mr.and Mrs. Graham Murray of Palmerston. Weekend guests with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Haverfield were Mrs. Peheb Haverfield of Woodstock, Miss Mary Hollings of Otley, Yorkshire, England and Miss Cis- sie Fellingham of Ilkley, York- shire, England. Mrs. George Common of Wah- peton, N.D., and Mrs. Margeurite Vold of Los Angeles, Cai., were guests the past week of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Doig Other weekend rests: wer }' of Clifford, Mr. and Mrs. RI S. Wroxeter Mr. and Mrs. Melville Dennis of RR 2, Wroxeter, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dennis of Brussels, were in Woodstock last Wednes- day attending the funeral of their nephew, the late Dennis Neill. Mrs. Neill was born in Gorrie, and was a grandson of the late J. H. Neill, former curator of the Goderich Museum. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Neill and Mrs. Esther Neill of Wingham, also attended the funeral. ()n Thursday last, Mr. and Mrs. Melville Dennis and their daugh- ter, Mrs. Almon Lewis of Kit- chener were in Strathroy for the funeral of J. D. Sexton. Mrs. Sex- ton and Mrs. Dennis are sisters.
