surviving are a twin sister, Mrs,,
John Raffan of Toronto and one
brother, Archie G. Campbell- of
Wingham. She was predeceased
by one sister. •
Funeral service was conducted
Tuesday by Rev. Eric Penny of
Brockville, assisted by Rev. Sin-
clair. Interment followed in Gime.

son, Winston Ferguson, Ron
Ferguson, Jim Ferguson and
Russel Ferguson. Flower bearers
were Debbie and Brenda Mor-

ing was held September 18 at the,
home of' Diane Kieffer. Doreen
Nickel read the minutes and dis-
cussion was on the planning and
packing of the carried lunch,
sandwich making and wrapping
and freezing sandwiches. Gail
Renwick demonstrated wrapping
and packing lunches. Plans were
- discussed ,regarding the club
exhibit for achievement day.

which were sampled for lunch at
the close of the meeting.

and the horse fell on her, causing
injuries to her back and face. She
was admitted September '23 and
reported in satisfactory condition
after treatment.
Farm Accidents
In farm accidents John Currie
of RR 3, ,Wingham,- received
painful injuries to his left arm, a
compound fracture, when a piece
of metal came off the forage har-
vester and struck him on the
arm, He was . given ' emergency
treatment, and transferred by
arimbulance to St. Joseph's Hospi-
tal,' London, i Septem ber 20.
James Leishman, Brussels,
lacerated his right hand when he
caught it in a hay baler and was
released from hospital after
treatment Septem ber 21,
In an .accident at home, Mrs.
Jennie Walsh of RR 4 Brussels,
fractured her right wrist in a fall
and had a cast applied.
Richard Stapleton of RR 4,
Wingham had a painfully injured
foot as the result of a manhole
,cover falling on it in front of the
Town Hall, Wingham. He suf-
fered multi -fractures to first and
second toes on the left foot and
was released after • treatment.
A Teeswater youth, Robert
Johnston, 16, soneQf Mr. and Mrs.
Ross Johnston, was treated for a
fracture of his right fingers
reported suffered in a fall on the
main street at Teeswater Sep-
tember 24.
New method
for handling
Sunday mail
Effective Sunday, October 1, a
new method of handling mail on
Sundays only will be introduced
at the Wingham Post Office. To
facilitate this new system a
standing mail receiver will be
located opposite the outside mail
receiverat the post office.
This receiver should be used
for mail destined to places other
than Wingham. Mail for Wing -
ham itself should be posted in the
regular receivers. In no circum
stances should the mail receiver
located in the lock box lobby be
used for outgoing mail posted on
Sunday,
This system will -provide con-
tinued rapid handling of your
mail and further, will enable the
staff at the Wingham Post Office
to have a full day off. As post-
• master at Wingham, G. K. Sut-
cliffe would appreciate your co-
operation to ensure the success of
this program.
