Mrs. William Coultes held the
second meeting at her home on
September 11. The president,
Doreen Taylor, openedthe meet-
ing with the pledge and risotto.
The members had a short discus-
sion and then went outside to pre-
pare shishkabobs for barbecue-
ing. They proved to be very tasty.

the Fordwich Community Hall.
Many new and interesting
events have been planned Alr the

in Fordwich on October 6 and 7..
The new 441 Club Horse Show
championship competition will be
held following judging of the Calf
Club. The judging is to take place
at 11 a.m. on October 7.
The Fair Queen, costume con-
testants, decorated bicycles and
the mutt show are among special
attractions planned for the par-
ade at 1 p.m. A good band is to be
on hand.
David Neilson and Mrs. John
W Brown were granted permis-
sion on behalf of the fair board to
install outdoor lighting in the
Gorrie ball park. The grounds
and arena are to be prepared on
special work days beginning
October 2.

ceived prizes for things entered.

high seat for the rodeo events Saturday, mounted on a pony
belonging to Roy Bongertman of RR 3, Teeswater, who wast
