Personal Notes
Mr and Mrs. Neil Rintoul on
Saturday attended the wedding of
her friend, Miss Helen Raeburn,
at Windsor. Mrs. Rintoul and
Miss Raebgrn were friends when
nurses in training.
On Monday evening White-
church and Belgrave Squirt soft-
ball teams played at Whitechurch
diamond with Earl Thompson as
umpire. The score was 27-12 in
favor of Belgrave.
At the United Church service,
which . Chalmers Presbyterian
congregation is attending for the
month of July, pastor Karel De
Koeijer's message was
"Security". Jane Laidlaw and
Irene de Boer sang "Life's Rail-
road". -
Recent visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Wesley Tiffin- were Mrs.
Janet Hall of Wingham and on
Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs.
B411 Purdon and Mr. and Mrs.
Donald Gaunt of Kitchener.
Weekend visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Mowbray were Mr.
and Mrs.. Angus Falconer and
Kevin of Strathroy, Mr. and Mrs.
Purpin and daughter of St.
Catherines Laprairie, Quebec.
Mr. and Mrs. Clem Sterner and
family of Goderich called Sunday

Miss Joan Tiffin is enjoying
holidays from Teeswater bank
last week and this week and Miss
Shirley Tiffin of the Bank of
Montreal, Lucknow, has two
weeks' holidays starting Monday.

afternoon with a score of 5-3 for
Whitechurch. In the evening

church.

attended the wedding of John
Shafer of Elora and Marilyn Bott
of Belwood in Elora United
Church. The reception was held
in Belwood Community Hall. Mr.
and Mrs. Shafer will reside in
Elora.
Gordon Rintoul returned home
to Unionville on Friday evening
with Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Rintoul
and on Saturday evening Mr. and
Mrs. Leroy Rintoul and Debbie
brought Gordon home. Kimber-
ley, who had visited here, re-
turned with them and Carol Mu.

weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley
Black of Belgrave came to visit
her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs,.
Gordon Rintoul.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Hunter and
Trevor of London were weekend
visitors with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Wallace Conn. Trevor te-
mained for a week's holidays.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Irving of
Liverpool, England, arrived on
Thursday to visit with their
daughter, Mrs. Garry Chapman
and Mr. Chapman of Wingham.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Caslick on
Sunday afternoon attended the
Harkness reunion held at Tees -
water park.

Mrs. Annie McQuillan on Sat-
urday was taken from Wingham
and District Hospital to Brook-
haven Nursing Home, Wingham.
On Friday Kenneth Purvis and
his sisters, Mrs. Annie Irwin and
Mrs. Bolt of Mitchell were
visitors with Miss Annie Ken-
nedy, Wingham.
Mr. and Mrs. John Murray.
Beth, Scbtt, Ronnie and Harry of
Sharon were Saturday visitors
with Mrs. Gertie Tiffin. They
went to Listowel vicinity to
further visit with former neigh-
bors from Sharon yvho have
bought a farm there.
This community wishes a rapid

Sunday had to be taken to Wing -
ham and District Hospital.
