Funeral service Feld Wedn,sday for Mia Ferguson Funeral service was held Wed- nesday of last week for Miss Ger- trude May Ferguson of Wingham who passed away at Brookhaven Nursing Home on Monday, July. 10, following a lengthy ° illness. She was in her 85th year. Rev. R. H. Armstrong of- ficiated at the service which was held at 2 p.m. at the S. J. Walker "t Funeral Home in Wingham. Interment followed in Wingham Cemetery . Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased, Stewart Ferguson of Elmvale, William Ferguson of Brampton, Bernie Phillips of To- ronto, Larry Miller of London, Harold and Murray Taylor of Wingham. Flower bearers were 4, Gordon Miller of London and Er- nest Welk r of 'Wingham. Miss Ferguson was born in Au- t burn on March 26, 1888. She was a daughter of, the late. John Fergu- son and Julia Case. She spent het , early years in Auburn, moving to Brantford in 1945 to live with her sister. In 1961, following the death of her sister, Mrs. Durham, she • moved to Wingham. r She was a member of the United' Church.
