Fred McCann was able to re-
turn home last week from Listo-
wel Memorial Hospital.
Fourteen boys from the 1st
Fordwich Scout Troop along with
their leaders, Walter Demerling
and Bob Kelly, left on Sunday for
a week's camping at Paul Bun-
yan Scout Reservation, at Rose
City, Michigan.

week with Greg Stewart.

of William John Lynn family to
attend a reunion at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Wray Cooper,.
Fordwich.
It was a very special occasion,
arranged to meet their New Zea-
land cousin, Miss Rtibena Hay-
don
ay`don and her friend, Mrs. Ivy
Thompson, who are on a world
tour and are, at present, guests of
their relatives here.
Miss Haydon is a descendant of
Isiah Lynn who emigrated to New
Zealand from Belfast, Ireland
around the same time that Wil-.
lim John Lynn left Ireland and
came to Cana
Over 70 relativ s from Toronto,
Windsor, Orillia, Fergus, Bramp-
ton, St. Marys, Kitchener, Luck -
now and surrounding area at-
• tended the reunion which was
held on the lawn of the Cooper
residence.
Mrs. Margaret. Tyler of St.
Marys had compiled the .family
tree, tracing the descendants of
the family from the time they
landed in Canada until ,the
A _ ie. There are fi'iain
branches to the family and there
.was a good representation from
the families. .
A photo album containing pic-
tures of the relatives attending
the gathering v?a's presented to
Miss Hayden as a memento of hers
visit to Canada. A tItnadian sou-
venir was given to Mrs. Thomp-
son as well as corsages to both
ladies. i3 .
A buffet lunch on the lawn was
enjoyed by all present. •

with the best drummer being his
daughter, Mrs. Reta Ross of
Bluevale. Prizes for floats went

Sarnia L.O.L.
All Women's Institute mem-
bers and ladies of Belgrave com-
munity are invited to the picnic at
the arena here July 18 at 2 p.m.
Each one is asked to attend and
enjoy an afternoon of contests,
