LAKELET — Neighbors and
friends gathered at Lakelet WI
hall on Thursday evening to
honor Mr. and Mrs. Emerson
Ferguson who celebrated their
25th wedding anniversary on July
ist. An evening of cards and visit-
ing was enjoyed. Mrs. Robert
Wood read an address in the form
of a poem. Mrs. Ferguson was
presented with a rose corsage
and the couple received a
decorator electric clock, an
aluminum 25th anniversary tray,
two lawn chairs and a purse of
money.
Emerson and Eva both ex-
pressed their thanks to everyone.
Lunch was served by the. ladies.

Belmore Community Centre for a
presentation and dance for Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Inglii. Music was
supplied by Jack Sangster's

Dubbed the "biggest little
church in the, world", the quaint
"Chapel of Meditation' stands
the edge of the Dinosaur Trail,
four miles west of Drumheller,
Alberta. •
It measures only seven feet by
12 feet, and accommodate's a
maximum of six worshippers, at
one time.
A feature for visitor's is a set ,of
taped recordings of prayers for a
variety of religious faiths.
