The full. sheer sleeves were finished with wide cuffs trimmed with the same lace, as was her floor - length veil, which fell. from a lace -trimmed, cap -style head- piece. She wore a -floor-length gown of mint gL'een featuring a narrow, above -the - waist cummerbund and gathered skirt. The long, full sleeves had wide cuffs trimmed with covered buttons. Her wide -brimmed, matching hat featured a band of white lace with interwoven black, velvet ribbon, as did the skirt of her gown. She carried a nosegay of yellow shasta mums and sal- mon carnations. Bridesmaids were Miss Tammi Ritsma and Miss Marysia Vel- vick., both of Kitchener. Their gowns and flowers were identical to that of the maid of honor ex- cept their dresses were in salmon and yellow shades,.respectively. Niece of the. groom, Miss Lisa Daw, was flower girl dressed in a long dress of mint green, with high waist band and short puffy sleeves. She carried a basket of yellow shasta mums and salmon carnations. George Miller of Hamilton was groomsman. Bob Gray and Wil- son Daw were ushers. Organ music was supplied by Mrs. Ken Alton, RR 7, Lucknow. Following the ceremony, a re- ception took place in the Lucknow. Legion • Hall, With music by the Twylites for dancing later. The bride's mother chose, a floor -length gown of / metallic, pale green, with silver acces- sories and a corsage of yellow Sweetheart roses. The bride, who was given . in marriage by her father' and mother, wore a formal gown of chiffon,trimmed with silk import- ed guipure lace. The fitted bodice was styled with a high stand-up collar and long, full sleeves with a wide cuff. A sheer square yoke enhanced the front bodice,, its outline adorned with lace trim, which also aopented the waistline and cuffs.. Her skirt was semi-: sheer and - full -flowing with a small train. She carried a bou- quet of yellow Sweetheart roses with lily -of -the -valley entwined. Miss Margaret Bennett of Wingham was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Wendy Lantz of . Hanover and Miss Barbara Flarity of Wiarton. They were dressed similarly in floor -length chiffon. The basical- ly peach -yellow floral dresses were highlighted with high stand- up collars and short puffed sleeves. The empire waists were gathered at the back and fell into small trains: They wore short, white open -back gloves which were gifts from the bride, and carried baskets of yellow and white daisies with lily-of=th ... , . - Hobert Strong of Gorrie and Ger- ald Brewer of Elmira. Following the ceremony a wed- ding dinner was served in the church parlors, followed by a re- ception in the Legion Hall, Wing- ham. The bride's mother re- ceived the guests in a floor -length gown of hot pink crimplene with attached sleeveless lace coat. The groom's mother wore a mauve sleeveless floor -length gown with white lace over and matching shawl. For their wedding trip to Northern Ontario the bride wore a red and white crimplene dress with matching navy and white sleeveless jacket. Her acces- sories Were Ate. Given in marriage by her fath- er, the bride chose a floor -length A-line dress of white peau de soie featuring a centre panel of lace and bell sleeves. A matching lace train fell from the shoulders. Her bouffant nylon shoulder veil was held in place by a' headband of white silk roses and she carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses. Miss Donna Frieburger of Bluevale was her sister's maid of honor. She wore a gown of yellow flowered polyester sheer styled tin princess lines with puffed sleeves. A yellow picture hat trimmed with ribbon hatching the dress, completed her en- semble and she carried a cascade bouquet of mauve daisies. Bridesmaids were the bride's :ousin, Miss Faye Hauck of Kit- :hener, Mrs. William Tufton, sis- ter of the groom, of Palmerston ind Miss Sue Rassman of Listo- wel. They wore . princess -styled Tresses of mauve flowered Polyester sheer with mauve pic- ure hats. Their . bouquets were • yellow daisies. A niece of the bride, Miss Kelly lueguen of St. Agatha was flower girl. Dressed similarly to the ceremony maid of honor, she carried a bas- ket of mauve daisies. Jerome Wickens of Bridgeport, nephew 'of the bride, was ring bearer. Following the wedding a recep- tion was held at the Brussels Le- gion Hall where 150 guests were served a stnorgasbord supper and enjoyed dancing to Tiffin's Orchestra. Mothers of the bridal couple received guests, the bride's mother choosing a floor - length A-line dress of blue polyes- ter crepe, white accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds. The groom's mother wore a floor - length dress• of yellow satin with white lace overlay, white acces- - sories and a yellow rosebud cor- sage. For travelling to Northern On- tario the bride donned a tan and white hot pants ensemble, white accessories and a corsage of yel- low and white rosebuds. Mr. and Mrs. Cooper will reside in Listowel where both • are em- ployed by Campbell Soup Ltd. Out-of-town- guests were from Kitchener, Bridgeport, St. Agatha, Ajax Guelph, Arthur, Shakespeare, Southampton, Riversdale, Greenock, Palmers- ton and Listowel. Bev. R. H. Armstrong officiated. Mrs. Nora Moffatt was organist and soloist Murray MacLennan, a -personal friend of the groom, of L' istowel, sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "The Wedding Benediction". Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Paulin of Bluevale are parents of the bride and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Snelling of Lis- towel. Mr. Paulin gave his daughter in marriage. The bride wore a floor -length empire gown of white peau de soie with elbow -length sleeves ,and a long train secured at the waist by a bow. A shoulder -length four -tiered bouffant veil of silk. illusion was held by a peau de soie cluster of petals enhanced with crystal beads and baby pearls. The bridal bouquet was yellow and white chrysanthe- mums and shasta daisies. The bride's sister, Mrs. Dale Breckenridge of Bluevale, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Janet deBoer of Blue- vale and Miss Kathy Foxton, niece of the bride, of Wingham. They wore floor -length gowns of true blue figured polyester crepe with ruffles at the hemlines, V - necklines and cape sleeves. The gowns were trimmedwith white lace. Mrs. Wesley Paulin wore a street -length dress of embossed pink crimpoline with white and pink accessories. The groom's mother, - Mrs. Snelling, chose a street -length dress of beige and brown raw silk with a mink stole. Following the reception the bridal couple left on a two-week motor trip through Western Canada and the U.S. The bride' and groom wore .matching tra- velling costumes of blue plaid shirts, blue jeans and cowboy boots. Mr. and Mrs. Snelling will re- side in Listowel. The bride is a graduate of F. F. Madill' Secondary School. Out-of-town guests attending the wedding came from Toronto,. Lindsay, Waterloo, Belleville, Stoney Creek, Bramalea, Thorn- hill and many towns in south- western Ontario.
