Pop singer and composer Carole King won four awards, for hei performance in "Tapestry"; for best album, the one bearing the same title; for best single re- eording "It's Too Late"..and for best composed song "You've Got Priend" sung by James Taylor Taylor was named best per- former (male) for the same re- . cording.
