Kitchener spent the weekend
with the former's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Lorne Lambkin.
Mr. and Mrs.. Joe Nicholson
and Rodney of Bluevale visited
Friday evening' with Mr. and
Mrs. Andy Miller.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wendt and
family of Toronto spent the week-
end with the latter's mother, Mrs.
E. A. Schaefer.
Sunday visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Douglas were Mr. and
Mrs. Dennis Johnston and family
of Sarnia and Mr. and Mrs. Brian
Douglas of Wingham.
Miss Margaret Sothern, nurse -
in -training at the Guelph.General
Hospital spent the weekend with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce
Sothern.
Miss Sandra Allan and. Floyd
Allan visited Saturday in Kitch-
ener with Bill Nelson who is a
patient at the K -W Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Armstrong
spent a few days last week with
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Schneider in
Kitchener.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Doig, Mr.
and Mrs. George Ashton and 'Miss
Irene Butchart of Clifford spent
one day last week in London.
Due to the severe weather con-
ditions the Fordwich Carnival
had to be postponed on Saturday
night, until Saturday, March
14th.
John. Tudar and Terry of Port
Credit called on friends in the
village on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Les Watkins of
Toronto and John Harris of New-
market spent the weekend with
Mr. and Mrs. Clare Harris.

don were weekend guests with

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Dinsmore
attended a farewell party Friday
night for Mr. and Mrs. Doug
Callander of Brussels, held at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. George
Newbold in Luclfnow.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Karges of
Listowel visited Saturday with
Mrs. Norman Harding.
Mrs. Anson Denierling was
able to return home last week
from Palmerston hospital and
Garn King Now Guelph General
Hospital.
Mrs. Stanley Bride was vest
speaker last Thursday at the
Carry On Institute, Palmerston
Four other Institute branches
were also in attendance. This was
their meeting celebrating the
75th anniversary of the FW.IO.
About 100 ladies attended.
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Dinsmore,
accompanied by Mrd'. Ruby
Haasnoot, Mrs. L. Siefert, Mrs.
L. Griffith and Mrs. A. McArthur.
attended the Institute meeting on
nursing care on Tuesday and
Wednesday of this week, held at
the Inn on the Park, Toronto.
Miss Karen Brown of Kitchener
spent the weekend with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Brown.
NEWLYWEDS HONORED
GORRIE — Mr. and Mrs. Mark
Ireland (Debbie Steurnol) were
honored. at a presentation in the
community hall on Friday even-
ing. The Fordwich Ramblers
supplied music for dancing.
Marilyn Bell read the address
and Mrs. Edward Roth presented
the couple with a gift of money.
