Bluevale United Church holds annual meeting BLUEVALE. — The annual meeting of the United Church was held on the evening of Febru- ary 2 with Karel de Koeijer as chairman and Wm. Peacock as secretary. Johnston for the trustees. • The treasurer, on behalf of the stewards, reported a satisfactory financial report. . Mrs. H. Edgar told of the work of the U.C.W: and read the finan- ca it . report . . The Sunday schoor work was reviewed by Mrs. 'W. Willits, Mrs. G. -Fischer told of the work with Messengers and Mrs. C. Johnston reported concerning the choir. The members of the board of stewards elected ~for a new term were G: Hetherington, G. Sellers, M. Craig and A. Corrigan. Mrs. J. There was a good attendance. The devotional period was con- ducted by Mrs. M. Craig, leader of. group two. The scripture was read by Mrs. B. Hastings, and Mrs. F. Fraser led in prayer. Mrs Edgar introduced the stiidy book for the year. The theme for the ineet1ng, "Pettiness', was illustrated by a skit presented by Mrs. L. War- wick. Mrs. M. Elston and •Mrs. G. Sellers. A vote of thanks. was extended to Mr. and Mrs. de Koeijer for their faithful work among the congregation by Mrs. Willits.
