They -were kept there for obser- vation. Mrs. .Rose M Broom, RR 5., Lucknow, was travelling west on Highway 86 last Tuesday when her vehicle entered a snow cov- ered section of the roadway, skid - ed, left the north side of the road and struck a tree. Damage to the car was set at $500. Mrs. Broom received minor injuries. Treat fractres A 15 -year-old Brussels girl re- quired treatment at Wingham and District Hospital Saturday for injuries received in a snow- mobile accident. Betty Mason, daughter of Mrs. Eleanor Mason, fractured her nose and suffered contusions to her face when she fell off a snowmobile in Brussels. Also on Saturday Mrs. Eliza- beth Krohn, RR 3, Wingham, fell at home and fractured her right collarbone. and Milne Cole of ,Blyth lacerated his thumb and first finger while sawing wood. Following treatment at the hospi- tal, both were released, ;d Mrs. Rosemary Benninger, RR 2. Teeswater, was treated for painful lacerations to her right wrist and thumb, received when „a jar she was 'opening broke in her hand on Sunday. Mrs. May Young of Wingham fel•1 on Josephine Street, Sunday, near the post office and fractured her right hip, She was admitted to hospital and her condition has since been, described as satisfac- tory.
