feted them on the ,occasion of
their 45th anniversary at Ford-
wich Community Hall last Wed-
nesday night, Dec. 29.
The bride and groom of 45
yea0 ago were married at Clif-
ford by.the late Rev. J. H. Lemon
on Dec. 29, 1926. ,
They farmed on con. 10, Minto
Twp. for 26 years before moving
to Highway 87 Howick where they

she underwent foot surgery.

following a fall at her home.

were Christmas visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. Gordon McPherson.

turned to teach at SS No. 3 Minto
then at SS No. 18 Howick and
back to SS No. 7 Minto until it was
closed and then moved into Mire-

schools were present Wednesday
night.

Mr. and Mrs. Donaldson have a
family of three sons: Tom on the
Minto homestead, Murray on Lot
24, con. 8 Minto, and Al at home.
They have five grandchildren.
During the celebration cards
were enjoyed first, followed by
dancing. The music was supplied
by Siefert's orchestra.
