BELGRAVE- -On Saturday
evening Trinity Anglican Church
Sunday SehoO1 held its Clulit-
mas social in the Belgrave com-
munity centre. The hall was
decorated with a 'Christmastree
laden with gifts. •
The prcrvarn opened with a
song of welcome by Rose Marie
and. Ra Lynn White. Recita-
tions were given by Jonathan
and Joel VanCamp, Pat Stack-
house, Kevin VanCamp and
Ruth Ann White. A play -The
Wind and Sun" was presented
by the junior boys. The Christ-
mas story, illustrated by a ta-
bleau, was presented by the
Junior and Primary class in a
series of recitations. Solos
were given by Rose Marie White
and Janette Johnston. Two
songs by Clark Johnston were
especially enjoyed. Instrumen-
tal music was furnished by Bren-
da Nethery and K e v in Van -
Camp with piano solos.
Santa Claus arrived onsched-
ule to the great delight of the
smaller children and distributed
gifts and bags of candy. Lunch
was served by the ladies.

Church service for this week
was held at Macintosh Church.
Rev. Wettlaufer's sennon was
"Following the Example of the
Wisemen". He said, as the
wisemen did, so should we...
search carefully, rejoice in
finding, kneel in worship and
offer ourselves in service. The
junior choir sang '"hr the Black
Midwinter'.
The Macintosh and Belmore
united Churches held their
Christmas concert at Macin-
tosh Church on Saturday even-
ing. The program wasthorough-
V e njoy ed by all and was
brought to a happy ending with
the appearance of Santa him-
self. An entertaining fihn with
• an appropriate message, entit-
led, "Christopher Mouse", kept
the children spellbound.
