Evening Unit elects officers
of Christmas meeting
BEWRAVE--The Christmas_
meeting of the Evening Unit
was held at the home of Mrs.
Jack Taylor with 16 members
and two visitors present. Mrs.
Norman Cook opened the meet-
ing with a Christtnas worship
service. Carols "0 Come All
Ye Faithful", "It Came Upon
the Midnight Clear" and "Twas.
in the Moon of Wintertime"
were sung, followed by a story.
"Christmas Eve in the Arctic"
and a carol, "Away in Mang-
er". -
Mrs.

Mrs. George Michie read a
story, "Edna Eldorado". The
Scripture reading was by 'Miss
Annie Cook and the carol "Hark
the Herald Angels Sing" was
sung. Mrs. Jack Higgins read
the story "Bachelor Mother",
followed by "0 Little Town of
Bethlehem". The story, "Her-
rington Harbour and St. Anth-
ony" .was read by Mrs. John
Roberts, followed by "Silent
Night" and Mrs. William Coul-
tes closed the worship service .
with prayer and "Good Christ-
mas Men Rejoice".

said, "It is just too soon to get
into this sort of thing. "
Board members also agreed
,to advise Middlesex County
Board of Education that Heron
students presently attending
Middlesex schools will be al-
lowed to' complete their educa-
tion in that school system.
