Trevor of London. Mrs. Leola Chadwick and Phil Chadwick of London brought Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson who had spent a few days with them, home on Tuesday. Bill Evans attended Bruce county council this week at Walkerton. Mrs. Emma Bagg of Toronto visited this week with Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Groskorth. Mrs. Victor Emerson and Mrs. Frank Coulter attended the Sectional meeting of the Presbyterian W. M. S. held at Ashfield Presbyterian Church on Wednesday afternoon. Those from Whitechurch UCW visiting Lucknow UCW on Wednesday evening were Mrs. Ezra Scholtz, Mrs. Garnet Far- rier, Mrs. Carl Weber, Mrs. Tom Magoffin and Mrs, Dave Gibb. On Friday evening the Hal- lowe'en young fry presented all sorts of goblins, ghosts and witches, and really gathered quite an amount of treats as they toured the village. They were remarkably obliging and mannerly. Miss Alma Conn of Guelph University spent the week -end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Conn. Visitors on Saturday with Mrs. Charles Tiffin of Wingham were her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bwn, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ross of Lucknow, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Johnston, Belgrave, Miss Janette Johnston of London and Miss Betty Johnston of Clinton. Jim Morrison is attending an advanced training course in Mechanics at Fanshaw Park, Lon- don, for seven weeks. This will complete his short courses, Mrs. Allan Turner returned on Wednesday last from Aurora. where a birthday party was held in her honor at the home of her son Richard, Mrs. Turner and family. Mr. and Mrs. Vic Casemore of Brantford were Sunday mist - top with Mr. and Ars. Tom Morrison. On Friday Mrs. Ezra Scholtz and Mrs. Albert Coultes, on be- half of the residents of North Street, presented Mr. and Mrs. Orville Tiffin with a satin - bound gold blanket and pillow cases in remembrance of their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Falconer of Strathroy were Thursday and Friday visitors with Mrs. Cecil Falconer on their way home from their honeymoon. Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Well - wood and Mr. and Mrs. Jaen Cronin were Thursday visitors. with Mrs. Cecil Falconer and Mrs. A. E. Purdon. Grey -Bruce Area Women's Institute are holding their elev- enth convention on Monday and , Tuesday in the United Church, Mount Forest, with Gleneden branch the hostesses.
