MacTavish-Perrault nuptials
Kenneth Allan MacTavish
and Sandra Lea Perrault repeat-
ed their wedding vows in Holy
Name of Jesus Church, Essex,
on Saturday at two o'clock. The
bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Laurence Perrault of Essex
and the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Cameron MacTavish
of Wingham. Father J. Winter
was the celebrant and the four
Renaud sisters, close friends of
the bride, sang. Yellow mums
on the altar provided deco/a-
don within the church.
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride Was lovely in a
floor -length coat -dress fashion-
ed in empire style with ring col -

Last Sunday the Rev. Rea
Grant, formerly of Mildmay
and now of London, was the
guest speaker at the Wingham
United Church. The subject of
his sermon was "Deliver Us
From Evil". The last time Mr.
Grant took part in a service
here was at his marriage to the
former Miss Hilda Tiffin, in
August.
The choir under the direction
of Mr. Hap Swatridge sang a
pleasing arrangement of the
23rd Psalm.
Next Sunday, the 106th an-
niversary shall be celebrated
with the Rev. Bob Trimble of
London as guest speaker at both
11 a. m. and 7 p. m. Mr. and
Mrs. Earl Heywood will provide

gold and brown mums in wheat
and grapes.

Missionaries from
Brazil guests at
Mission Circle
Guests at the annual Thank-
offering,rneeting„andrhusbande,
night held in the BaptistsChurch
Friday were Rev. and Mrs. Mel
Cuthbert and family of Brazil.
The family, consisting of four
sons and a daughter, took part
in the program, playing music-
al instruments and singing in
the Portugese language.
Mrs. Cuthbert spoke on the
work of a missionary's wife "and
Rev. Cuthbert showed pictures
and answered questions on the
life and customs of the people
of Brazil. Each member show-
ed much enthusiasm and are
anxious to return in a few weeks
for another term as missionaries
in that country.'
A fellowship time and re-
freshments were enjoyed in the
basement of the church.

For the reception. held in
the Essex Masonic Hall, the
bride's mother wore,,a matching
autumn green saki coat dress/
and green accessories. The
groom's mother chose a lime
green coat dress with which she
wore green accessories. Guests
attended from Wingham, (X-
tawa, Hamilton, Toronto,. Galt,
Chatham, Montreal, Wa4h1ag-
ton and Pompano Beach, Florl-
da.
For travelling Mrs. MacTav-
ish selected a matching deep
orange virgin wool coat dress
and black accessories. Her cor-
sage was of orange tipped roses.
They left on a wedding trip to
the New England States.
The bride is a graduate of
the Hotel Dieu School of Nurs-
ing, Windsor. Mr. and Mrs.
MacTavish will reside in Lon-
don.
