Brother dies in Hamilton Mrs. Wilfred Hamilton re- ceived word Sunday that her brother, Fred WaSibun Ri Ham- ilton, had died suddenly at his'' home that morning. She left for the city Monday morning. Mr. Washburn, 78, is survi- ved by his wife, the former El- sie Scudamore of Harriston; a . son Robert of Montreal and a daughter Frances of Hamilton.. Mrs. Hamilton is the only surviving member of .the Wash- burn family. Three brothers, Clarence, •Charles and Elmer are also deceased., Florida guest dies suddenly • Mrs. Helena M. Kennedy, 82, of 103 Dtew Street, Clear- water, Florida, died early Wed- nesday morning, August 27, in Wingham and District Hospital. Mrs. Kennedy had been visit- ing with her friend, Miss Earns- cliffe Musgrove of town. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. W. H. Findlay of Montreal. Funeral service was hold Saturday afte,rataon at St, Pan's Anglican Church for Jane Anne Nethery, 1S* year-old daughtr of Mr. and Mts. A. E. Nettery, Diagonal Road, who was Wed in a car accident Wednesday afternoon at the junction Of highways 86 and 4, south of Wingham. Jane Anne was born in Wing- ham. She attended Wingham Public School and was entering grade 11 at F. E. Madill Scoop* dory School this fall.. She Was a member of the Junior Altar Guild and the choir of St. Paul's Church. Rev. C. F. Johnson Offlciat" ed for the funeral service and burial in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave. Pallbearers were Ray and Norm Corrin of London, John Phillips, Bruce Machan, Gary' Reed and Bill Deneau. (Shirley) Boucher of Chatham, Mrs. Peggy Smith of Wingham and Mrs. Roger (Beverly) Ken- nedy, Barrie; one brother, Ter- ry Nethery of Wingham and six- teen nieces and nephews. She was predece ased by one sister, Mrs. David (Fem) Hed- ley. Married in Germany Mr. and Mrs. George E. Jones were married in L o h r, Germany, Saturday, July 19, 1969. The bride was the form- er Marie Cuillerier, daughter o,ff Mr. and Mrs. George Cuiller ier of Calumet, Quebec and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jones of Wingham.
