in Huron County will continue
to pose a potential hazard to
dogs and cats. In order to 'alle-

ard , it has been decided that
the Canada Department of Ag-

There are still reports to
come.. The good thing is that
there were no failures, which
proves the calibre of personnel
in the Unit.
Theannual inspection report
for the unit has'.been received
from Headquarters Ontario Re-
gion. The unit received a 72. 9
per cent overall average. This
includes administration, logis-
tics, training, personnel and
maintenance. The opinion'
throughotit Western Ontario
District is that 21 Field Regi-
ment is one of the top militia
units.. Arriving at this point
has not been easy. This is the
result of hard work on the part
of many people. All ranks have
contributed in some way.
Now, the not so pleasant
ncws. Our Regular Force in-
structor, MWO Kcn Cameron,

Now that the Minister of
National Defence has made his.
first cuts'at the Regular Force
(and they are only the first
round), we of'the Militia are
wondering when and where he is
going to swing his axe at the
Militia units. The Chief of the
General Staff has said , quote,
"Reduction of the Reserves.
Certainly the Defence Staff •
is not doing anything to en-
courage Militia Units. When
Regular Force assistants are
posted from' Militia 'Units they
are not being replaced.
Pe.rhaps they have:. never
heard the old cliche, ." History
repeats itself. "
