be with her gifts. Shirley Anne
thanked everyone and lunch was

The Canadian Radio -Television Commission announces
the following decision on applications heard at its sixth
Public Hearing in London, Ontario, on March 4, 5 and 6.

OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL

WINGHAM, ONT.
Application by Radio Station CKNX Limited, licensee
of Station CKNX and CKNX-TV, Wingham, Ontario, for
permission to transfer 12,600 preferred shares of capital
stock in Wingham Investments Limited (a shareholder in
Radio Station CKNX Limited) from W. T. Cruickshank to
1) G. W. Cruickshank.
Decision: APPROVED..
• Reasons: The Commission is satisfied the new owner
will maintain the service being given to listeners by the
stations.
It is a condition of each licence that the licensee com-
pany shall comply on or before September 1, 1970, with
the direction of His Excellency. the Governor -General -in -
Council, regarding ownership and control (SOR/69.140).

AFTER 10 YEARS members of the 19A9 Nursing Assistants'
course of Wingham General Hospital held their first re-
union. The event was held in Listowel Memorial Park
recently. Twelve of the 18 who graduated that year along
with their instructor, Mrs. Lawson Cross, attended. Shown

fenstein arrived in Canada from
Switzerland last week and are

AITKEN--In Walkerton on Sun-
day, August 17th, Mrs. Belle
Aitken, widow of the late
Thomas Aitken who died in
1917; also predeceased by
one daughter. Aged 90
years. Survived by one son
John of Walkerton, and oth-
er relatives in this area.
Church services
BELMORE--Services were
held in -K n o x Presbyterian •
Church, Belmore, on Sunday
moming. Mr. Charles Congram
of Toronto was the guest speak-
er and based his message on
Hebrews 11: 23-27. The senior
choir provided special music,
with Miss Doris Stokes at the
organ.
In McIntosh United Church,
the Belmore United Church Wo-
men were- in charge of services.
Mrs. William Mulvey conduct-
ed the, service with Mrs. Wil-
fred Johann reading Scripture
and Mrs. Murray Mulvey lead-
ing in prayer. Mrs. Earl Fitch
read a children's story, with
Lavonne Ballagh delivering the
sermon, based on Revelation
3: 20. The junior choir sang an
anthem, accompanied by Laura
Inglis.

Dan Murphy in Buffalo last
week. The funeral was held
