Personal Notes from Whitechurch Mrs. Alan Turner is spend- ing a few days this week with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Turner dr and family of Aurora, and while there will attend the fun- eral of her niece in Toronto. Those from Whitechurch W. I. acting as hostesses at the Museum Log Cabin, Southamp- ton, on Tuesday were M r s Tom Metcalfe, Mrs. McArthur, Mrs. Frank Ross, Mrs. Albert McQuillan and Mrs. Robert Ross. iv1r. and Mrs. Kenneth Laid- law of London were Saturday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. El- roy Laidlaw and family. Visitors last week with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Coultes were Mrs. Jack Coultes and family of Barrie. On the week -end lack joined them and all at- tended the Kerry picnic on Sun- day, held at North Bruce where 65 gathered to renew friend - ships and play games. Mrs. John Gaunt and Mrs. Qil • Albert Coultes attended a trou- sseau tea on Saturday at the home of Mrs. John Snell in honour of her daughter Barbara, bride-to-be. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Conn left Malton airport by plane last Wednesday =route to Lon- . don, England, where they will spend a few days then tour the continent. Robert Mullis of Thamesford spent the week -end with his mother, Mrs. Bessie Mullis and Wilford Clipperton. Mr. and Mrs. George Gaunt of Exeter attended the Tiffin- Leddy wedding at St. Augustine on Saturday and spent the week- end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gaunt and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams. Those attending. the Falconer reunion on Sunday, held at the home of John Mclnnes , Blue - vale, were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tiffin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tiffin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Tiffin, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin and Russel Ritchie. Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Sim- mons of London spent this week with Mrs. Ezra Scholtz. Cam- eron was repairing the veranda of the house where Carl Weber resides. Art Guest of Kincardine is banding a garage for Garnet Farrier. Rev. Ure Stewart of Seaforth had charge of service in the United Church on Sunday. His daughter, Mrs. H*mmond and Mr. Hammond of Moorefield, surprised her father by attend- ing the service here. Re v . Stewart was pastor of the Pres- byterian Church here in 1914. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Farrier and Kimberley of London spent a few days last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.- Garnet Farrier. Mr. and Ma. Richard; - er and•family of Aurora visited on Sunday with his mother., Mxs. Alan Turner. Mrs. D. MacDonald of Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, spent Sunday with Mr.- and Mrs. H: D. MacDonald. Rev. and Mrs. Horace Brad- en of London and hos mother, Mrs. Braden, were dinner guests ?Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Simpson and family. While there they attended the funeral at Alliston of Mr. Peacock's mother, Mrs. Albert Peacock, • Mr. and Mrs. John Carruth- ers of London and their daugh- ter, Mrs. Rewbothatn of Belle- ville, were Sunday callers on Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher.
