Wins award in poster contest Debra Ann Leddy, a grade 5 student of St. Anne's School in Kitchener, received a certifi- cate of merit and gift of money from the Province of Ontario re- cently for her fire prevention poster. Debra was one of the ten winners from Ontario to re- ceive this award. This contest was sponsored by the Fire Pre- vention Bureau of Ontario. Mrs. Sara Wade read a poem, "Deep Water". Rev. H. D. Jenkins made some announce- ments and spoke briefly. Rev. Harry Jennings gave a talk on "Women in the Bible", 'men- tioning especially those in the Old Testament. Rev. Jennings closed the meeting with pray- ers. No meetings will be held in July or August. The hostess, assisted by her daughters, -Mrs. Olive May and Mrs. H. Jennings served lunch.
